Update: COVID-19 Vaccination - April 12, 2021
There are now 4 Health Canada approved vaccines against COVID-19 and are highly efficacious and safe.
The best vaccine is the vaccine that is available to you now.
Eligibility criteria are changing quickly so please keep checking the below booking/pre-registration options for updates:

You can also check your local hospital’s booking sites directly. When you are eligible, you should typically book at the hospital in your catchment area. See below websites for information:

Unity Health (St. Michael’s and St. Joseph’s Hospitals):
There have been recent concerns regarding the AstraZeneca vaccines and the risk of blood clots. Our recommendation, in line with Thrombosis Canada (see link below), is to proceed with the AstraZeneca vaccine if it is available to you. The risk of contracting COVID (or developing a clot as a complication of COVID illness) is significantly higher then the risk of clots from the vaccine. For more information see below:

Despite the Ontario government announcement regarding primary care receiving vaccines, we do not have vaccines in our clinic and do not have any further information when we may receive this. Therefore we are not scheduling appointments for vaccinations and we do not have a wait list. We will post updates in our "News" section regarding vaccine availability regularly.
